Being an avid advocate of game-based learning, it is my philosophy that any student will receive vital skills to understand, design, and create tools to overcome any challenge that they face.
Within an educationa
l setting, students should be always encouraged to exploit their own imagination, and I firmly believe that the best way to level up their skills is through playing and fun.

This is the reason why my main tool for teaching is: videogames.

While my decision to pursue a career in teaching was something that came as a surprise, I'm very happy and glad to have known that this is a great way to make a positive impact on the lives of many students with the ambition of fulfilling their biggest dreams.

As a teacher, it is important to mention that I'm always learning, which is also a way of connecting with the students since we are together in this education journey.

I have been an instructor in a variety of schools across different education levels, such as Universidad Anahuac Mayab, Visual College of Art and Design, University of British Columbia: Game Development student club division, and iCAMP Education Academy.
Additionally, I've had the honor of volunteering as a mentor in schools and events such as The Global Game Jam, Women Game Jam, and Choice School for the Gifted.
Eventually, I have had the opportunity to design the curriculum and syllabus of a variety of courses and programs across different schools.

I have been able to use a variety of educational tools such as Unreal Engine, Minecraft: Education Edition, Unity, Maya, 3Ds Max, GitHub, and Adobe Suite. Moreover, I like to make my own class material using PowerPoint mostly.
